Well, well, well, another eventful week in the crazy world of financial markets. And this time, it’s especially wild in the crypto realm, as the US Federal Reserve decided to chop interest rates for the third time in 2025. Because why not, right? Let’s keep this rollercoaster going!

Before we get to the Fed’s latest brainwave, let’s talk about Bitcoin, that ever-volatile digital diva. BTC had been flirting with the $94,000 mark for the past month, getting rejected like a bad date, before tumbling under $88,000 last week. A dramatic drop, but just when we thought the bulls were napping, they woke up and pushed BTC back above $90,000. Not bad, not bad at all.

But wait, it gets better! On Tuesday, just before the all-important Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, Bitcoin went on a rampage, surging to a multi-week high of $94,500. However, just like that awkward moment at a party when everyone suddenly stops dancing, BTC got rejected again, and came crashing back to $89,500. Yikes. But the bulls, ever the optimists, didn’t give up and pushed it back above $90,000, even briefly crossing $92,000. As of now, it’s sitting pretty with a small but sweet 1.1% weekly gain. I guess that’s something.

Meanwhile, HYPE is having a rough week, slumping over 7%. But hey, who cares about HYPE when ZEC is on fire? ZEC is doing its best impression of a superhero, surging more than 18% this week to hit $460. Perhaps it’s the underdog we’ve all been waiting for?
