TRAC Soars 40% After Upbit KRW Listing-Crypto Fans FREAK OUT!

TRAC jumps as Upbit opens KRW, BTC and USDT trading for OriginTrail

Upbit, a major cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea, began listing OriginTrail (TRAC) on May 18th. Users can now trade TRAC using Korean Won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT).

Summary

 • Upbit opened TRAC trading against KRW, BTC and USDT, adding direct Korean won access.
 • CoinGecko showed TRAC up 39.4% in 24 hours as daily volume reached $38.6 million.
 • OriginTrail links AI data verification with blockchain through its Decentralized Knowledge Graph and NeuroWeb network.

According to a market report following the official announcement, users were able to start depositing funds within 90 minutes. Trading of the token began at 4:00 p.m. local time, and the platform offers three ways to trade, including the option to use Korean won directly.

Upbit also limited trading when new cryptocurrencies were listed. Specifically, buy orders were temporarily blocked for around five minutes after trading began.

For the first five minutes, the exchange blocked sell orders that were more than 10% lower than the previous day’s closing price on CoinMarketCap. After that, for roughly two hours, only limit orders were permitted.

TRAC price rises after listing notice

The price of TRAC increased significantly following an update on the Upbit exchange. According to CoinGecko, TRAC was trading at $0.4607, a 39.4% jump in the last 24 hours. Over that same period, the price fluctuated between $0.3228 and $0.6028, with approximately $38.65 million worth of TRAC being traded.

As a crypto investor, I’ve been looking into OriginTrail, and what really stands out is that they’re building an ecosystem around data that’s ready for AI. Basically, they’ve created a platform using a special kind of blockchain – a Decentralized Knowledge Graph and something called NeuroWeb – to organize information. This makes it easier for AI to find and use data, and it’s also helpful for businesses and verifying information, which I think is a really smart approach.

OriginTrail’s goal, as outlined in its whitepaper, is to create a trustworthy internet by integrating blockchain technology, the internet, and artificial intelligence. It plans to do this with new tools for finding and verifying information, ensuring data is accurate and its origins are clear.

Upbit now allows users to deposit and withdraw TRAC tokens, but only using the Ethereum network. The specific address for TRAC on Ethereum is 0xaa7a9ca87d3694b5755f213b5d04094b8d0f0a6f. If you send TRAC through any other network, your deposit or withdrawal might be delayed or fail.
