The eternal struggle over Ripple, that enigmatic entity from Silicon Valley, and its hoard of XRP continues to fester on the X platform, where the cries of the common man echo like whispers in a gulag.
David Schwartz, Ripple’s CTO Emeritus, descended into the fray to defend the company’s latest accusation: that its shareholders feast while retail buyers gnaw on crumbs.
The Burden of Dual Funding
The commotion began with Zach Rynes, a self-proclaimed guardian of Chainlink, who accused Ripple of hypocrisy for peddling equity to the elite and tokens to the masses. He declared, with the solemnity of a priest, that retail buyers “fund a company that prioritizes its masters over you.”
Rynes demanded an explanation for why Ripple’s “premined coins” could buy mergers and stock buybacks, while the rest of us barter with hope. Some XRP loyalists retorted that Rynes’ logic was as sound as a house built on sand, arguing that expecting tokens to behave like corporate equity is like demanding a camel fit through the eye of a needle.
