- BNB, the supposed ‘stable’ crypto, plummeted 3.3% in 24 hours, falling from $1,117 to a pitiful $1,063. It tried to fight back, but not quite enough.
- The crash wasnāt just because BNB had a bad day-no, no, the trading volume soared by 87% over its average! Even the algorithmic traders got involved, sparking a frenzy of sell orders.
- BNBās last hope? $1,070. If that doesnāt hold, well, it might be time for the token to go treasure hunting at lower levels.
Oh, BNB, the token everyone loved for discounts on Binance fees (who wouldnāt love that?), took a nasty 3.3% dive over the last 24 hours. It started out all comfy at $1,117, but in no time, it was spiraling down to a meager $1,063 before limping back to somewhere just below $1,080. Yikes. š„²
This little crash had it all-technical levels ripped to shreds, recent gains poof gone, and an 87% surge in trading volume, as if the market decided to throw a tantrum. CoinDeskās fancy analysis showed us exactly what happened: algorithmic systems, probably a bunch of very serious robots, triggered a flood of sell orders, pushing prices even lower.
As if that wasnāt enough, the entire crypto market was like āLetās do this together!ā with Bitcoin and friends all deciding to retreat at the same time. The CoinDesk 20 index even dropped by 2.74%. Talk about a crypto party gone wrong. šš³
And then, just when you thought it couldnāt get worse, BNB stumbled upon a temporary pillow of support at $1,070. But, of course, it couldnāt make a proper recovery-no, no, it just hung around $1,075 before another wave of selling smacked it right back down. Can you say āstuck in a rangeā? š
Now the big question: is this just a little hiccup, or the beginning of a full-on meltdown?
