So, CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid finally got their CCSS Level 3 certification. Big whoop. Like, wow, they’re officially the most secure crypto folks on the block. Or so they say. Hacken gave ’em the thumbs up, which is like getting a gold star in cybersecurity kindergarten.
- CCSS Level 3? Yeah, it’s the crypto equivalent of “I’m a big kid now.”
- Hacken audited it. Because who doesn’t love a good audit? Spoiler: nobody.
- C4 says it’s a big deal. Which is like your mom saying you’re special. Thanks, C4.
CryptoProcessing by Coinspaid, the self-proclaimed “regulated crypto payment gateway” (fancy, right?), just got their Level 3 certification under the Cryptocurrency Security Standard (CCSS). Apparently, it’s the highest designation from the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4). Yawn. But hey, at least they’re not selling NFTs of their achievement… yet.
Hacken, the auditors with nothing better to do in Q4 2025, gave them the green light. Full System scope, folks. That’s like checking under the bed for monsters, but for crypto.
The Big Deal About CCSS Level 3
CCSS is this fancy framework for keeping crypto systems safe. You know, key management, wallet stuff, and all that jazz. It’s like the crypto world’s version of a safety blanket. C4 says Level 3 is the crème de la crème. Or, in Larry David terms, the least terrible of the terrible.
So, CryptoProcessing is now officially “not terrible” according to C4. High fives all around.
What Did They Even Audit?
Oh, just the usual: keys, wallets, backups, access, transactions, logs, risks, and whatnot. Basically, everything but the kitchen sink. Turns out, CryptoProcessing is doing it all “rigorously.” Whatever that means. Probably just means they didn’t lose any Bitcoin… yet.
Why Should Anyone Care?
Well, if you’re an enterprise client, this means CryptoProcessing is slightly less likely to screw up. Banks and regulators might sleep better at night. And DORA and MiCA? Yeah, they’re probably impressed. Or at least pretending to be.
“This certification is a big deal,” said Max Krupyshev, Executive Leader at CryptoProcessing. “It’s like we finally graduated from crypto preschool. High-fives all around.” Thanks, Max. We’re all so proud.
