Binance’s Guillotine: 7 Tokens on the Chopping Block – Who’s Next?

Ah, the iron fist of Binance strikes again! On the fateful day of April 14, the crypto colossus slapped its Monitoring Tag on seven hapless tokens, sending them spiraling into the abyss of panic sells.

The condemned? Harvest Finance (FARM), Highstreet (HIGH), Enzyme (MLN), Resolv (RESOLV), Syscoin (SYS), TrueFi (TRU), and Velodrome Finance (VELODROME). A motley crew, indeed, now dancing on the edge of delisting, their fate hanging by a thread-or should we say, a blockchain?

The market, ever the drama queen, reacted with the subtlety of a sledgehammer. SYS took the lead in the race to the bottom, plunging 11.53% in minutes. MLN and VELODROME followed suit, shedding 6.89% and 6.09%, respectively. HIGH, RESOLV, and TRU joined the lament, with FARM bringing up the rear at a mere 2.00% drop-a small mercy in this carnival of despair.

Binance’s Monitoring Tag, that harbinger of doom, has a history as grim as a Dickens novel. Beefy.Finance (BIFI) and Measurable Data Token (MDT) felt its chill in June 2025, while FunToken (FUN) and Orchid (OXT) met their maker in March 2026. All were summarily delisted on April 23, joining FIO Protocol (FIO) and Wanchain (WAN) in the great beyond. FUN, ever the jester, crashed 27%, while MDT plummeted 22%-a fitting end to their crypto saga.

“Tokens with the Monitoring Tag are like tightrope walkers without a net-volatile, risky, and one misstep away from oblivion. We watch them closely, ready to cut the cord at a moment’s notice. Remember, these tokens may no longer meet our lofty standards and could be cast into the void,” Binance declared, with all the warmth of a Siberian winter.

Traders, those eternal optimists, must now jump through hoops to keep their hands on these flagged tokens. A quiz every 90 days? Oh, the humanity! And let’s not forget the updated Terms of Use-because nothing says ‘fun’ like legal jargon.

“The quizzes are our way of ensuring users are fully aware of the risks-or at least, aware enough to click ‘I agree’,” the exchange quipped, with a wink and a nod.

In a twist of fate, Binance also removed the Seed Tag from Tether Gold (XAUT). The Seed Tag, that mark of the untested and untrusted, has been lifted, signaling XAUT’s ascent into the hallowed halls of Binance’s approval. A rare victory in this sea of despair.
