Shocking Crypto Takeover: Banks Rush In Within Six Months

The gentleman who bears the title of Chief Executive and Co‑founder of the curious fund known as Bitwise, a manager of a certain stock of digital coins, is of opinion that the greater portion of the world’s financial institutions will ere long avail themselves of these sparkling assets. One cannot but observe that such anticipations do lend themselves most entertainingly to the parlour, though they may vex the accountants.

In a recent discourse upon the Talking Tokens, Mr. Horsley declares that two-thirds of all financial institutions will enter crypto in the near term, based upon his conversations with the most eminent bank gentlemen.

“I have had the honour to converse with many a chief executive and president, and with a few chairmen of banks, and I think it all happening forthwith. I believe two-thirds of all financial institutions will be in crypto in the next six months.”

He adds that over half of all financial-technology houses, and six more besides, will likewise be in crypto.

“The whole affair appears to be being wired together, and this matters for the space because, whatever the specifics of people’s designs for crypto may be, the general aim is that it should be adopted as a common store of value, a common asset class, a fresh set of rails, and that billions of souls may use it.”

Horsley asserts that having hundreds of the world’s most powerful corporations and institutions embracing crypto and conveying it to their audiences is, to say the least, a matter of considerable consequence-and, if I may be so bold, rather dashing in its scale.

“It is putting a dent in the universe and becoming something ubiquitous and permanent. We are positively delighted.”
