Bitcoin’s Tumble: A Comedy of Errors in the Crypto Circus

What ho, old sport! The top-tier coins, those darlings of the digital realm, are taking a bit of a pasting at the end of the week, according to the chaps at CoinStats. It’s all gone a bit pear-shaped, if you ask me.

BTC/USD: A Tale of Woe and Woe-is-Me

The old Bitcoin (BTC), once the toast of the town, has taken a bit of a nosedive, dropping 3.51% since yesterday. It’s enough to make a chap spill his tea.

On the hourly chart, the price of BTC is sitting pretty in the middle of its local channel, as if it’s waiting for a bus that’s never going to arrive. With most of the daily ATR already in the rearview mirror, the chances of a sharp move by tomorrow are about as likely as Aunt Agatha approving of my latest scheme.

Now, on the longer time frame, the traders-those clever coves-are keeping their eyes peeled for the nearest support level at $80,537. If that breaks, well, it’s like a game of cricket where the batsman’s just been bowled for a duck. The accumulated energy might just send it tumbling to the $78,000-$80,000 zone. Jolly bad show, that.

And if you cast your eyes over the weekly chart, it’s much the same old rigmarole. The volume is as low as my tolerance for Aunt Agatha’s lectures, which means the buyers aren’t quite ready to take the reins. All in all, a further correction seems the most likely scenario for our dear old Bitcoin. It’s enough to make a chap reach for the stiffest of brandies.

At press time, Bitcoin is trading at $82,960. Not exactly the stuff of dreams, but then again, neither is Aunt Agatha’s cooking.
