They’re talking about the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” Oy, with a name like that, it practically begs to be trouble! It’s adding five TRILLION dollars to the debt ceiling, and the Fed is printing money faster than my bubbe makes chicken soup! It’s all… a little much.
And listen to this! 41% of Americans plan to spend LESS this holiday season! Less! Can you believe it? It’s like they’ve never heard of a good schmear! 😩 They say it’s because prices are going up and wages are staying put. A real pickle, this is.
Now, about this leverage…it’s a BIG problem. A BIG, HUGE problem, like a giant matzah ball! $135 BILLION is tied up in futures! And when things go south – BOOM! – $527 million goes poof. People are running for the hills! They’re saying AI is built on debt. A bubble? A BUBBLE, I tell ya! A big, inflated, fragile bubble!

Then there’s Trump… or rather, the speculation about who Trump will pick! First it was Hassett, then Warsh. It’s like a reality show, but with the US economy on the line! 😵💫 And the dollar? It’s holding on by a thread!
So, what does it all mean? Who knows? Maybe buy some gold. Maybe hide under a table. Maybe just eat some chicken soup and forget about it. I’m starting to think the latter is the best idea. 🤷
