Trust Wallet, the brainchild of Binance’s very own CZ (Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, if you’re fancy), has decided it’s not just for storing your digital pennies anymore. Nope, it’s now moonlighting as a fortune-teller, thanks to its shiny new feature: Predictions. 🌟 Because who needs a crystal ball when you’ve got a crypto wallet, right? 🤷‍♂️

Starting Tuesday, Trust Wallet users can now trade and earn on real-world events-all while maintaining that sweet, sweet self-custody. Yes, you heard that right. You can bet on whether your neighbor’s dog will finally learn to fetch or if the next season of The Bachelor will end in tears (spoiler: it will). All from the cozy confines of your existing Trust Wallet. 🤑

“Eligible users can view events, take positions on outcomes such as yes or no, and track how each event develops over time,” Trust Wallet said, probably while adjusting its monocle and sipping digital tea. ☕️

And what events, you ask? Oh, just the usual: crypto, politics, sports, entertainment, and global catastrophes. You know, lighthearted stuff. 🎪 From Tuesday onward, Trust Wallet’s Predictions will aggregate markets from multiple platforms, because why have one when you can have ALL THE THINGS? 🌍

Kalshi and Polymarket: The New Kids on the Blockchain

Trust Wallet’s dip into the prediction pool starts with Myriad, a plucky newcomer that hit $100 million in trading volume by November. But don’t worry, big players like Kalshi and Polymarket are expected to join the party soon. “Predictions is live today in Trust Wallet powered by Myriad,” CEO Eowyn Chen told CryptoMoon, presumably while juggling a blockchain and a latte. ☕️🤹‍♀️

Meanwhile, Kalshi and Polymarket are handling about $1 billion in daily trading volume, according to Dunedata. But hey, we all have to start somewhere, right? Baby steps, Myriad. Baby steps. 👶

One Wallet to Rule Them All

This move comes hot on the heels of Trust Wallet’s tokenized stocks launch with Ondo Finance in September. Because apparently, one type of trading just wasn’t enough. MetaMask, not wanting to be left out, announced a partnership with Polymarket in October. “People shouldn’t need five apps to express what they think will happen next,” Trust Wallet CEO Chen said, probably while deleting four apps from her phone. 📱✖️

“Users shouldn’t need five apps to express a market opinion. It should happen in the same place they already hold and trade,” Chen added, while mentally high-fiving herself. 🙌

Of course, trading restrictions like geofencing are strictly enforced, because nothing says “fun” like being told you can’t bet on the weather in your own backyard. 🌧️🚫
