Oh, fantastic. Cardano and Ripple are “moving closer” to an alliance. Because thatās just what the crypto world needed-more alliances, more plans, more dreams. And what do they want to do? Blend XRP into Cardano’s ecosystem like peanut butter and jelly, except nobody asked for this.
- Charles Hoskinson, the guy whoās always got a new āgreat conversation,ā says heās chit-chatting with Rippleās Brad Garlinghouse about adding XRP to the mix. Naturally, everyoneās thrilled. Or not.
- Cardanoās shiny new Lace wallet will supposedly support XRP by late 2025. Because why not extend the blockchain fever dream a little longer? š
- Analysts, probably paid in crypto, see this as the ultimate utility expansion. Cross-chain, liquidity, yadda yadda-just more buzzwords to impress the folks who donāt read whitepapers.
Charles Hoskinson, the eternal optimist, said during an AMA (which is basically a virtual meet-and-greet where he talks to himself) that he had a āgreat conversationā with Garlinghouse about throwing XRP into the Cardano mix. Oh, and Lace Wallet will support XRP ābefore the end of the year.ā Yeah, sure, I believe that when I see it. Maybe at some mysterious future date, when pigs fly. šāļø
JUST IN: Cardanoās Charles Hoskinson blabs, āGreat chat with Brad about $XRP. Lace will support XRP before the end of the year. Would love a joint event with John Deaton and some others.ā Because what could possibly go wrong? – Angry Crypto Show, August 2025
XRP in Cardanoās Lace Wallet: The Future or Just Another Fantasy?
Late 2025. Mark your calendars. XRP gets to be cool again-supporting liquidity, utility, and possibly, if weāre lucky, some actual use cases beyond just settling payments. Ripple sneaks into an ecosystem that supports smart contracts-wow, revolutionary! Or just another way to pile more tokens into the same swamp of crypto hype.
The Great Cardano-Ripple Bond⦠Maybe?
Hoskinsonās teasing a future where we all get to attend a joint Cardano-XRP event. Yeah, because nothing says āweāve moved past rivalryā like bringing John Deaton and the community together for a big crypto kumbaya. Such a party would, of course, say everything about how serious they are about working together, or just be a lovely gathering of blockchain hopes.
Analysts (probably the same ones who predicted moonshots in 2017) say this could be a win for both. Cardano gets a splash of Rippleās huge community, and Ripple gets a pass into the land of smart contracts and DeFi-thatās the dream. Because in crypto, whatās better than little alliances floating around, right? Itās all about interoperability, folks. Or about pretending it is.
In the end, theyāre both just trying to convince us that this fragmented ecosystem might someday work together. Or maybe theyāre just bored. Either way, itās another episode in the never-ending soap opera of blockchain āpartnerships.ā šæ
